Musandam Dibba Trip - The Experience
The trip to Musandam Dibba starts at 7:30 am when our courteous tour guide welcomes you to our well-appointed vehicle. The road trip to Musandam Dibba is revelation. It passes through the Northern Emirates of Sharjah, Umm Al Qwian and Fujairah. The sand dunes give way to coastline and then to mountains of Hajar. These mountains are basically of limestone and over thousands of years the sea and air carved various details that are a visual delight. While driving towards Musandam Dibba, we would stop by quaint roadside shops nestled among the Masafi Mountains. This area is known as Friday Market and famous for carpets, clay pots and fresh fruits. Bargaining is MUST and you could also have light breakfast here. After some 15 minutes of window shopping as well as actual purchase, we would proceed towards Masafi Mountains. A brief halt and for some photo shoot and the convoy heads towards Musandam Dibba harbor. The mountain drive is full of treacherous hair pin bends. Once we reach harbor a beautifully decked Omani wooden Dhow awaits you. Once on board the cruise start on the emerald waters of the sea. You are served refreshments by our courteous staff. The Dhow's interior is like an Arab Majlis with lot of carpets and pillows set for your comfort. Once the dhow reaches a certain point, you get to do your snorkeling and swimming. Onboard snorkeling kit would help you to unravel the marvels of marine life. The Cruise proceeds to deeper waters for hand line fishing. If you are not interested in swimming, snorkeling then you will have the option to take our speed boat and enjoy a relaxed moment on the sandy beach. There are further options to go for the Banana boat ride. The lunch onboard is a gourmet delight with generous spread of continental and Arabic dishes laid out in buffet. After lunch while you are just lazing in the comforts of the Dhow, it takes you back to Musandam Dibba Harbor. The journey back to Dubai is a time savor all that you have done and fantastic time you had.

The Dhow has qualified Captain, crew and is equipped with navigation compass, fire extinguishers, medical box and life jackets. It is recommended to have your travel insurance in place.

Smart casual clothing is ideal. Keep sweaters or jackets handy if going to Musandam Dibba in winter. Carry your swimming costume if you want to swim.
